Product review sites - a headache for indies?
What do you think of product review sites as an indie business (G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, GetApp)?
For big business they make sense, but for a smaller business it seems like they won't drive a lot of traffic but will be headache to maintain.
What's your experience?
I build a few affiliate based comparison sites for b2c products. Much of the hassle here can be automated via APIs. Like prices, availability, in parts even ratings, features, content. This would be harder for products like a saases.
For b2b products and all those existing, I think it would be super important to start in a good niche to make it work. Ideally a small, hyper engaged niche.
