Product validation: A curated list of newsletters/podcasts you can advertise your side projects in.
Hi guys,
So I became suddenly obsessed with this idea a few days ago. I wouldn't stop thinking about it until I started building a framework for it. I am now working on a basic MVP and almost 80% done. Then last night, I had to pause to really think if there is a potential paying customer out there.
The basic idea is to give access to a database with a list of curated email newsletters and podcasts across various industries looking for advertisers and sponsors and sell that database to basically individuals with side projects or businesses looking to get in touch with potential customers.
I found a few players with the same idea already in existence but hey! there isn't a crime in joining the race right?
So, I am here asking for 2 things
- What do you think about the idea generally?
- Do you think it is worth paying for? if yes, How much can you shell out monthly for this?

I saw a website (maybe it was gusto I don't remember) that gives info about advertising on newsletters. So to answer your second question, there are people willing to pay for it, but you need to provide relevant data, like number of subscribers, open rates and CTR.
You are definitely right. CTR , open rates and subscribers are actually the most important data to be collected and we have got that covered. Thanks for the input
