Hey Indie Hackers! I'm working on shipping a new pricing page and registration flow to help us convert more paid users. Previously many users were stuck on the pricing page because it wasn't clear to them how to select the FREE tier or begin a paid trial. With these changes, we are hoping to alleviate the confusion around pricing tiers and drive individuals to start a "free trial". I encourage any and all feedback you have about how we can improve the impact of this flow!

Hi Everest,
Your flow is indeed better. Here is my 2 cents:
Hope this helps!

Let's talk about Purchasing Power Parity! Reach me out on Twitter @julesmaregiano
Thanks so much for the feedback @julesmaregiano! We'll definitely be implementing a lot of this.
In regards to the first bullet, we happen to be updating our prices as we speak, and this will no longer be an issue with the new pricing. Great suggestion!
We're going to change the form submit text to "continue" as you suggested.
As far as removing redundancy from the plans, we gave this a shot and the "starter" + "pro" plans looked sort of empty because we include so much in the free version. Do you have any UI suggestions for how we could make the paid plans look fuller? (without adding more features, of course, haha)
Hello Everest,
Love the new version of your pricing page.
I have some concerns :
Credit card page :
Is it possible for you to provide the payment page after 7 days?
For example, even the payment is processed after 7 days according to your page (free trial), you may have some conversion issue because the user may be afraid to let his credit card at this time. Actually he doesn't know your product really well yet
I will let customers use the product during 7 days and asked them to put their credit card information after.
Pricing page details :
Don't hesitate to be more specific about the features you provide according to your user's segment. According to the pains/problems you detect from your customers, what kind of features could you add ? Don't hesitate to talk to your current paying users and asked them why they are so excited about your product. Do this for each customer segment you have (Free, Starter Individual)
Don't hesitate to track this situation with Mixpanel to understand why the new users churn after 7 days. Everything that I wrote have to be tested, this is the fun part of product management
Keep us posted
