ProductHunt paid sponsorship

Hi all, recently we got top 3 products of the day on ProductHunt & also featured in the weekly top product. (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/stryve). We had amazing traffic & conversion which was fantastic. We then got asked if we'd like to be promoted product of the day with PH. Costs $4k. We weighed up the option and went ahead because of the success of the back of the launch.

The result was poor. Low traffic and low conversion. Maybe we just had a bad day with it but I wouldn't do it again. Anyone looking at this I would consider other options on where to spend your money.
