Hi Everyone!
My business partner and I have been working on a way to product-ize email marketing for 5 months, and finally came out with a solution.
It's a service that allows you, based on a monthly subscription, to submit unlimited "email requests" to get fully written and designed emails implemented directly into your email service provider.
On paper, it seems like a great idea, and we even built a website for it (grabdigital.co), but we're planning to launch soon, and I'm feeling a lot of uncertainty about how this idea will play out.
Our offering differs from an agency in the sense that we do not do the strategy and planning for your email flows. We're essentially an email genie that grants any of your email wishes.
This way, we don't have to have an in-house, brick & mortar agency that costs thousands. We've shaved our pricing to a minimum $499/mo, instead of the thousands agencies charge, but I still feel uncertain about a multitude of factors before we officially put out our service.
It also doesn't help that we haven't properly tested this idea. There are a few competitors in our space that have similar offerings, but the biggest worry I face is that there are no competitors that do EXACTLY what we do, because perhaps what we do is not a sustainable model.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance on anything about what we are doing.
Ideas: Potential issues with the service, audience, pricing, the way we package the service, etc.
Much love.
Jasper, have you done any customer interviews to see if this is a problem worth solving?
Is there a way to niche down to a more specific audience that needs this type of service?
Potential issues I see:
The closest I could think of is SNAP Copy - https://snapcopy.co/.
Hope this helps!
These are excellent points to consider. Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! I'll do what I can to make the strategy and workflow more so the audience can easily understand the value they're getting.
Hey @itsgrabdigital, sent you a pm. Sounds like a cool service!
Thanks for reaching out. If you are Julian's friend, then I have responded to the email!
