I gave Webflow a try to build a landing page but I got frustrated and reverted back to coding.

I know no-code has it use cases but as a developer, how do I bring myself to learn how to use no-code tools?

    1. 4

I had the same problem with webflow but also didn't want to code my landing page (I already code for 40 hours a week at work!). I tried https://www.launchaco.com/, which looks great but seems to be out of date and not working. Settled on https://unicornplatform.com/, which has worked wonderfully for my landing page.

      1. 1

unicornplatform.com looks neat! Thanks for sharing

    2. 3

Hmm I understand, I have the same love/hate with Webflow.
I would recommend going for tools with a shorter learning curve
      Carrrd
      Softr
      Typedream
      Framer

    3. 2

Webflow has a steep learning curve, but once you get on top you can create stunning website extremely fast! Way faster than by coding ⚡️✌️

Agree with you. When I first saw it dashboard oh it was hard and I quit but suddenly one day I decided to give it a try and started with editing the clones and boom.

        I loved it 😍.

Hey, this happens too often with all these website builders. They're simply too complex. That's why we built the Popsy Builder - a website builder that works just like Notion. Drag & drop blocks, multi-column layouts, customize fonts & colors, buttons, custom backgrounds, 1-click publish, and so on. Notion style editing directly in Popsy. Try it out and let me know what you think :)

I played around with it for a bit, loved the simplicity!

        1. 1

Awesome, so glad you liked it! We're adding new features constantly, so stay tuned for even more 🤝

I used Drafter AI to build my Norns AI 100% no-code.
Also used Make (former Integromat) to connect it with other tools.

    1. 2

That's amazing! what's the pricing is like for drafter.ai?

      1. 1

        Thanks!
It's "pay as you grow", like Google Cloud.

The more computational resources for features (custom search, text analysis, text generation, translations, data transition) your users spend - the higher the value is.

    Great Work keep it up

      Thanks :)

We are using FlutterFlow to build https://jem.social

It's an app for Creators to network with other Creators by swiping right/left.

  5. 1

We built Relume Library on Webflow - https://library.relume.io/

Hi @Katt - Thank you very much for sharing this resource. It is really super helpful. I have a question. Is it possible to build a no-code tool which uses drag and drop to drop pictures on a canva?

  7. 1

    Hello,

Wao that's really good news that you created products with no code and that is very interesting for us https://zarqaainteriorfitout.ae/services/best-landscaping-company-in-dubai/ to stay motivated if you can do it then why we don't????

  8. 1

    Hi, Katt!

Why not add to the list

    1. zeroqode.com provides ready-made app templates and plugins for Bubble platform
    2. lab. zeroqode.com provides video courses that teach how to build apps without code.

Both are built on Bubble. And this is an excellent example of a successful business in the no-code development niche.

    1. 2

      Wow great examples, thanks TanyaL

  9. 1

Hey Katt, great initiative! I see that at the moment, you only have one browser extension in your list. May I suggest to add Leadix: https://bit.ly/3c1qgZZ ? We have built it using Bubble. Have a great day!

    1. 1

May I ask you, what exactly you have built with Bubble? The landing page or the extension itself? Thanks!

      1. 1

Hey Arig, we have built the entire extension in bubble with a small javascript wrapper such as this one: https://bubblehacks.io/charles
For the landing page, we plan to do it in webflow.

    2. 1

That is amazing! Thanks for sharing.

  10. 1

    cool
how you come up with this idea?

I'm just testing with an automation (with Make/Integromat) that for now is starting to generate income by publishing offers in a Telegram channel. Long live no-code!!!! :)

    1. 1

      Yeah!! Go go go Rubén!
I would be really interested to hear more about your results on Telegram! 😊

In my opinion, products created on no-code have security issues.

    1. 1

Can you please elaborate a bit more? We are building a tool for creating SaaS applications without coding, so may there is something we should take into account (besides those things we already know about)?
      Thanks!

    2. 1

This can be a limitation of no-code depending on the platform, but often is more-so a failure of the developer to account for this. For security, Bubble.io has pretty robust permissions at the server level to evaluate how to treat data before it's sent to the client. https://manual.bubble.io/help-guides/working-with-data/protecting-data

If you plan for these up front, it's not so hard to implement. We do this as an early step in all our client engagements.

That's quite a generalisation, any examples?

  13. 1

Do you count CMSs as no code? If so, do include https://skilledup.life - free talent for tech startups (once subscribed). We now have 11,463 free talent from 92 countries.

Spent 3 days configuring a theme before we went live.

    1. 2

      Impressive!

      1. 1

But have many issues with the product now.

  14. 1

    Why are these examples needed?

  15. 1

awesome list. what does everyone use for no code that goes beyond a simple landing page?

    1. 1

I've played around with bubble also, it goes a long way.

    2. 1

I've built a fair few SaaS products with bubble.io

      1. 1

It would be very great if you share the links and the stories behind building them!
        Thanks!

  16. 1

This is great! Do you accept new submissions?

    1. 1

      yes for sure!

      1. 1

Awesome! Both saasbudha.com and openprojecthq.com are built with Bubble.

  17. 1

This is a great list. Thank you for your effort.

  18. 1

    GREAT site. 👏🏻Well done!

Any plans to collect revenue numbers on these apps? That'd be very engaging, and a fun project IMO 😀

    1. 1

I agree, that would be super cool! It will require some time and digging to collect this info but will be interesting to see, so for sure on the list for v2.

      Thanks for the kind words

  19. 1

    Great inspirational list.

    1. 1

thank you Mot, hope it inspires you!

  20. 1

Love this list! So useful to showcase the power of no-code to others

    1. 1

      Great, thanks for sharing!

  21. 1

thats look useful, thanks a lot!

  22. 1

    Awesome content Katt.

You guys are doing some work that I really appreciate!

    Thanks!

  23. 1

Thanks for sharing Katt!! Pumped for this launch!

Defo think it'd be cool to add user, revenue, funding numbers etc... related to each no-code example.

    An inspiring list!

  24. 1

This is an amazing list. I found some gems like Not Real Twitter. Would be cool to see MRR if available as well, like on the IH products section

    1. 1

Indeed, that would be super valuable. We have many ideas to improve it!

  25. 1

That's a great list! I'm always impressed by what can be achived without writing a single line of code. Although sometimes I feel writing code may be faster then having to hack around some no code tools! 🔨

    1. 1

      Thanks Alex.
Agree with you for some usecases (if you can code) :)
