I also say Paul who founded Tito is struggling, we've used their software for our events, I guess it seems inevitable.

I see a big jump after COVID. My Profit Course gets a lot of attention. Now, I can see the reason.

Our Podcasters are still recording as per their schedules, and we are seeing new signups as well!

I run an online event scheduling app (vailable.io), so I was expecting to see a major dip in use since my app is really reliant on social events, but I found that weekly users have actually remained around the same since people are still using it to schedule virtual meetups.

Ground zero for disruption is any conference- or event-based company. So MicroConf, LTV Conf, Business of Software, and others are really feeling the heat right now.

The damage is more widespread than that though. For example, Amir Salihefendic of Doist (we had him on the podcast recently) seems to be struggling:

A few weeks ago, we had an outlook for 2020 with high growth and hiring of 25 extra Doisters. This week, my thinking is shifting towards how to survive this than how to grow.

And he's definitely not alone. Any company that relies on people doing "business as usual" is in for a rough patch.

Event tech companies like mine are also likely to take a hit. So far only one customer has cancelled their conference. Most of my other customers are in May and June. I guess we'll just have to wait and see were COVID-19 is at that point.

My customers are also largely non-profits who rely heavily on their conferences for income. If a lot of them in this niche cancel, it's going to be REALLY hard to sell to them next year.

Sales for my product (divjoy.com) have taken a 30% dip.
