Project Ideas - Motivation from Podcast

Today I heard the latest IndieHacker’s podcast. Feeling motivated again.

I still don’t know what I should do. I am setting a deadline for myself to quit my day job or negotiate my hours to 20 hours a week. I work for a big company, I doubt they will let me reduce my hours but I will try. Babysteps!!

I don’t have any Innovative ideas but CRM seems to be on top of my head. So I am just going to just do that. As a part-time REALTOR, I had been looking for a simpler CRM with feature specifically that a part-time REALTOR might need. In the end, I use a simple spreadsheet. I think I can convert my spreadsheet into a simple CRM.

For CRM, I will use Laravel. I love PHP, Yes I do! I thought if I use React/node JS, it will look better on my resume but my goal is build a business and PHP is still my strongest language even after spending last 3 years in JavaScript land.

Anyways, deadline to give notice to my manager is 2021Q1.
