As a developer who has worked at several corporate organizations, and I understand some of the frustration of Project Management tools/processes. From story points, to sprints, to over complication in general.
As a mobile app developer, I am always working on side projects. I always use my notes app to track features, bugs, enhancements, etc. After a while I gave in and tried some project management mobile apps, and personally the outcome was disappointing. I wanted a simple app that has a board, that I can simply move stuff around and manage everything in just a few taps.
Apps I tested:
Notion: Way to generic for a mobile development. It felt like a glorified notes app
Trello: Mobile app UI/UX was outdated and was not super easy to use(Web app is much better)
Monday: Not all features are offered on Mobile
Has anyone else noticed this as well, or is it just me? Whenever I am testing my side projects I am on my phone testing.
If you were to use a project management mobile app, what features would you need, or what features would you not want?
P.S. - I just released a project management mobile app called BanKan Board. Simple project management with a Claude AI integration. I would love any feedback if anyone decides to try it out!
