Project scoping for freelancers, consultants and agencies

Thanks for the reply.
The “collaborative vs. restrictive” point really resonates - I’ve seen the same pattern where traditional contracts feel adversarial and clients just ignore them.
My idea was to create a collaborative workspace where client could join (without creating an account) and approve or request changes on each scope item individually with clear progress tracker.
I already have some kind of POC in progress, but whether I'll commit myself to work on that depends on how many people recognize this as a real problem.

Filip , As a freelancer, scope creep is absolutely brutal. I've lost countless hours to ambiguous client requests.

Current "solutions" like detailed proposals and contracts often fail because:

• Clients don't read them thoroughly
• Scope still evolves during projects
• Enforcement feels adversarial

The pain is real, but the solution needs to feel collaborative, not restrictive. The AI approach could work if it makes scoping feel like partnership rather than paperwork.
