Promoting myself before promoting my product
Hey all,
I thought I'd like to share my own insight with everyone about what my first marketing step is for my new product, and how I'm taking a slightly different approach.
Do I have a product built? Yes.
Is this product tested and marketable? Absolutely.
Am I advertising yet? No.
My first step is to promote my personal brand and what I have achieved so far.
Why you ask? It's because when I start speaking to new people about my product I want the benefit of them being able to research my name and to get information that is beneficial. I want people to gain extra confidence in not only my new product but my brand.
Are there any other people have also done this too? To me it was a week of side work which is now done and dusted so it's been not a bad experience but to others it might be more of a pain to build.
