I have recently developed an algorithm that could help gaming companies protect themselves from having their content being leaked online by closed alpha or beta users that test it under NDA , by being able to traceback the account responsible for the leak. That of course is one of many potential applications of the algorithm .
By having this ability not only the company can find the source liable of the leak with 100% certainty but also discourage further leaks.
Do you think that is a market i should consider to reach out to ?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
If you are suggesting that you have an algorithm that can search the complete internet and its history to find the first instance of a media file being posted then, of course, there will be value in it. But I do not believe it will solve the problem you are trying to solve. Firstly you most certainly do not have the complete web indexed. And secondly, you can only find the first occurrence of a media file being posted. In most cases, if an individual knows that the content they are posting is protected under an NDA they will make sure to not post it directly themselves. They will have other people post it for them. Or they may use a burner account to post it. What you have could be useful for finding a kind of ground zero for videos that go viral but I don't know if there is a market for that. I don't believe you are capable of solving the problem you think you can. If even if you can people will just start posting videos on throw away accounts.
I am not sure footage leak of early alpha and beta version of the video game is a major problem. The only thing this kind of incident would do is create a hype if the game is good or get some -ve reviews if the game is bad (but it can be improved because that is feedback). I don't see damage to the video game business in this (maybe I am wrong).

Well , i still need to do market research on it to be honest. The thing is this algorythm can be used for any audio or video format. Just trying to find people who share such files in confidence and would like an additional safety net to not only detect who leaked their content but also to discourage future incidence of this sort.
Well the thing with this algorithm is that is could be very easy to integrate, but you're right need to do some more research on it .
Thanks for the feedback
