Pterocos: HTML CSS JS Online Editor with AI Builder

what does the AI builder produce - full HTML sections or just autocomplete? building PM tools nights and weekends, always looking for faster prototyping. I'll try it out.

Really impressed with Pterocos! The clean interface, live preview, Monaco editor, and AI coding support make it very useful for both beginners and developers. I also liked the privacy-focused approach with no signup required. Great work on the recent updates — the platform feels fast, modern, and easy to use. Keep improving! 🚀

Few thoughts.

The "no signup required" is your biggest wedge against CodePen and JSFiddle, so make it the headline on the landing page, not a feature buried in the description. First impression should be paste code, see result, done. Right now a new visitor has to read past the AI framing to figure that out.

The AI chat is fine but in this category the real moat is share/embed. If a Pterocos link dropped into a Discord or Slack renders an inline preview of the actual rendered output (not just a screenshot of the editor), you get organic traffic from every share. CodePen monetized that exact loop for years.

Two questions worth asking yourself before adding more features: what does day-1 retention look like, and what is the path to first 1,000 users? At $0 revenue, those are the only metrics that matter.

Looks, feels good, Maybe have a full on guest mode that doesn't save just for quick testing also when inside a project, I can't back out of the create readme popup, a small bug :D nice though

My initial thought is that there are two many step before i see something - I have to enter my name, why? I have to then enter project details etc.

I think if I could literally just paste in some code and see it work, then I'd be more willing to get deeper into the platform and part with some of my details.

I suppose it depends on whether you want mass adoption or immediate customers.
