Public beta is live! Would love to get your feedback...
After spending the last two years solo-developing/bootstrapping Bricks, a visual site builder for WordPress, I finally opened up the public beta for anyone to test the product for free while it's in beta: https://bricksbuilder.io/?invite=indiehackers
What do you think about the landing page? Is the value proposition clear, strong and convincing enough? Especially in regards to existing solutions like Elementor, Divi, etc.
Getting the pricing right is an art in itself and definitely requires some A/B testing. But this is how my pricing currently looks like https://bricksbuilder.io/pricing/
I don't want to compete on price and I rather serve fewer customers that see and understand the value Bricks provides than trying to get as many customers as possible, no matter what.
There is also a referral program. You get a $10 discount for every referred beta user. So five referrals would get you a free yearly license. I saw other beta programs implementing a referral program with great results and I hope it can give the beta some additional traction via word-of-mouth. Is the incentive high enough or would you tweak it?
Finally: If you are curious and would like to help beta test Bricks, and provide feedback, that would be extremely helpful.
Also, can you recommend any tools to collect feedback from beta users? I feel like emailing gets quickly out of control. Surveys/polls via Google Forms/Typeform maybe!?

The templates video seems unavailable to view on the website. It would be nice to show some real examples done using the builder.
So I moved from Wordpress to Webflow a few years back. The main two issues I've always had with Wordpress is lack of design customization and unnecessary template options and plugin code which makes the websites so slow.
I always had to pick an existing template and get frustrated when the customization is limited and the changes the client requests cannot be done.
It's good to see you have thought about and mentioned about the speed performance too.

Thanks so much for your comment. The template video should open in a popup. It's working fine for me in Chrome.
You are right, I definitely have to add some real-world examples to the page.
I feel you. Great customization (in terms of layouts, global/page and element settings) and performance (both in the builder and on the frontend) are actually two of the main pain points I try to solve with Bricks.
The beta version performs pretty well already with a page load time of 0.189ms and just 5 requests in total (https://tools.pingdom.com/#5b6fae8564000000). Bricks comes with built-in SEO and performance settings and lazy loads all images, background images, and videos.
