Python Developer Wanted

We're looking for a senior Python backend developer to help us build the world's first ML-powered automation platform! Enid – the AI employee we're building – is a chatbot capable of understanding human speech and acting upon it. He is an employee who is efficient, smart, and never late. Enid is the customer's gateway into the Autaway automation platform.

All the communication goes through an advanced NLP model that produces an "action." It is the job of our backend engineers to implement these actions, be it triggering a scraping job, sending emails, scheduling SQL queries and many more varied activities. Your job will be to create/reuse existing tools in our platform to automate common business workflows such as conducting automated screen calls with job candidates, scraping the web to generate business leads, and conducting automated data audits. Our offering has a strong ML component as well, so you may have a chance to gain invaluable experience as machine learning engineer.

Core skills:
• Very good experience with Python
• Good understanding of asynchronous design patterns and task queues
• Strong experience building RESTful services using web frameworks such as Flask
• Good understanding of scalability concepts
• Basic devops skills (Docker and Kubernetes in particular)
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP in particular)
• Strong experience with SQL and any RDBMS system (Postgres in particular)
• Strong experience with caching systems and key-value stores (Datastore/Redis in particular)
• Knowledge of design patterns
• Strong understanding of how to design clean architectures that scale

Nice to haves:
• Experience with automation
• Knowledge of websockets
• Knowledge of chatbot systems
• Basic knowledge of NLP and/or ML
• Experience with microservices (architecture, implementation, drawbacks)
