Hey Indie Hackers đź‘‹
I’ve been working on Qpace, a dating app with a twist: it skips endless swipes and walls of text, and instead puts your voice at the center.
Most dating apps feel like an inbox job: swipe → match → dead chat. Qpace is different: you talk first, text less.
🎤 Voice over text: Send voice notes or talk live — skip awkward texting.
🔥 Real-time audio rooms: Jump into live Talks, vibe, joke, sing, or just talk with strangers.
🎯 Smart matching: Filter by gender, location, and language to connect instantly.
🕵️ Privacy-first: Chats and voice notes disappear after listening — no recordings, no history, no pressure.
After trying the “big dating apps,” I saw the same problem: matches that never turned into real conversations. Text can hide personality, but voice reveals connection instantly.
That’s what sparked Qpace | Spark In, Speak Up, Find Love.
âś… Live on Apple App Store, Google Play, and Qpace Website.
🚧 In the process of submitting to alternative app stores ( Aptoide, Apkpure, Amazon Appstore, Uptodown, etc. ).
I’d love feedback on:
The pitch — does “voice-first dating” resonate?
The distribution — worth the effort to be on every alternative store, or should I double down on one ecosystem (App Store, Play Store + targeted marketing)?
The growth hacks — what’s worked for you in competitive, crowded spaces like dating/social apps?
