Hey Indie Hackers ๐
So I've just published a first real landing page for my app (Quanta) and would value any/all feedback from this community - good/bad/ugly -- need to hear it all ๐

Thanks in advance!

#landing-page-feedback
Hey Tpf - my thoughts:
Hope that helps! Now I actually have a question for you :) - would you pay $75 to have another 50 opinions/set of feedback like the one I gave you above?
Thanks for the notes Chris ๐ Very much appreciated!
I've updated the site a lot today.
To answer your question, I'd probably want to know more about who these people were first.
Iโve got a service at https://scoops.io, weโre thinking of building a feature for landing page reviews. We source via ads, referrals, and posting on forums (just depends on who you need!).
Nice! I can always get behind something that helps people get their finances straight and focus on gaining FI.
I would love to know if you find success in charging monthly. I think the whole privacy thing can be a hard sell because people typically claim itโs important to them UNTIL you slap a price tag on it.
Also, this is just a major personal opinion as I am not a designer in the least, the yellow in the app doesnโt really do it for me. I feel it takes a way from what could be a really clean and sleek UI.
Good luck!
Thanks : )
Yeah, I'll lose some (many) potential users by charging for Quanta. I'm ok with the tradeoff between building a business that serves my users vs. serving advertisers or the financial industry.
Thanks for the note on the yellow (gold!) I'm not convinced either.
Another yellow landing page but this time the yellow is not jarring :)
Looks good - scrolling gives more info - top page gives an idea what this is.
How are you going to differentiate from www.mint.com and get integrations going ?
Thanks for the notes!
Yeah, a little gradient helps. Still not sure about it though...
So about Mint, their whole way of business (ads and lead gen) and model of personal finance (conventional) represents the polar opposite of what I'm trying to do with Quanta, in fact I started working on Quanta as a reaction to the failings of Mint, Quicken, and Personal Capital. How do I actually convey this message of differentiation? Am working on it ; ) Many ideas in flight rn.
