We just launched Quartz on Product Hunt today.
It started pretty simply: inboxes were getting out of control. Not just spam, but a weird new wave of AI-generated outreach that looks relevant at first glance, but still ends up being noise.
What surprised us was how fast it escalated. What used to be ~10 irrelevant emails a day turned into 50–100 in some cases. The quality went up, but the usefulness didn’t.
Quartz is an AI email client that runs locally on your Mac. It learns your writing style and preferences over time, so it can help you focus on what actually matters and draft responses in your voice.
It’s still early, very much in public beta, and free to try.
Today is mostly just a milestone for us. Feels good to finally ship it and put it out in the open.
If you want to check it out or share feedback, here’s the launch:

Appreciate anyone who takes a look or drops thoughts.
Interesting launch.
One thing I'd be careful with:
The challenge may not be filtering more email.
It may be deciding what users are actually trusting Quartz to do on their behalf.
That sounds similar, but it can quietly shape adoption, expectations, and how people evaluate the product.
I wouldn't make that call casually this early.
