Query APIs in Google Sheets
We've been bootstrapping (is that a term?) databar.ai, a no-code platform to query APIs, for the past 1.5 years. The purpose of our product is to let users automate data collection by querying a huge library of APIs without code and without authorization (i.e. we provide you with an API key to query data APIs ).
We recently realized that we can build an extension with our library of APIs so this is our attempt at doing so. We're launching it on Product Hunt on Dec 12 and would love to hear what you think: https://www.producthunt.com/products/databar-ai
There are several other API connectors in Google Sheets and we're not sure if we can compete, but our hypothesis is that our tool is much less technical (parameters are all pre-filled) and users don't need an API key to query external APIs (i.e. we handle payment & API credits for you).
Some of the things you can do with it:
Finance/crypto
- Get virtually any financial dataset about any stock, ETF, mutual fund (global) into your sheet
- Get virtually any crypto data (both historic and live/auto-updating) about any coin, exchange into your sheet
Marketing:
- Enrich a list of companies/emails/names with 100+ company data points (est. revenue, numb. employees, HQs, social media handles, competitors, suppliers, investors)
- Pull in data from your CRM, marketing tools
- Verify emails & phone numbers directly in Google Sheets
Sports:
- Get betting data, results, fixtures, player & game/play-by-play data for NBA, College Football, NFL, NHL, Soccer
Other:
- Get weather/climate/air quality data for any location/zip
- Query government APIs
