Question about email list verification / list cleaning

Hey everyone 👋

I have an email list of about 5k subscribers that I'm planning to move from Mailerlite to Ghost (Pro). The domain I'm sending from will also change. I'm wondering about list cleaning and how to do this most effectively to avoid deliverability issues when sending from the new domain.

Mailerlite tells me that 800/5000 subscribers are inactive, meaning they have not opened an email from me within the past 6 months. It's easy to remove these emails from within Mailerlite.

It also looks like I could run email verification with Kickbox for about $30.

I'm wondering if I should use Mailerlite's built-in cleaning, or use Kickbox (or another service like it), or do both?
