Question: How do I post? I get an error that I'm not allowed to

You need a minimum of (i think) 20 points to be able to create a link post. You can get points by contributing via comments and voting / getting upvoted, etc.

I am also experiencing the same issue. I am trying to post a text post (and that has some links inside). Do I need to get to certain # of points before I can do that?

Am trying to launch swiftpoll [dot] net but unfortunately this has been the only thing preventing me from doing so. It seems I am not even allowed to write blog posts.

I tried to make my first post but failed. Keep refreshing but still not worked.

I also meet this problem. Based on the comments here, I think the top 1 solution is to get 20 points then submit your post.

I'm a new user and I too have the same issue. Now, it get that we need atleast 20+ normal posts before we engage in link posts.

Doing on a search on this myself... I didn't get an error message, but as a new user, it's not letting me do a new text post. No errors or message indicating why.
