Question: is there a selling PDF/eBook online service ?
Hi Indie'Hackers,
I'm looking for an online service to sell a PDF/eBook that is:
-affordable with a small fee (like 2$ for every sell or 5% of total price)
-have online payment (obviously)
-user can download the PDF on the platform or receive it as email attachment
is there a service/platform like that ?
I already checked for Amazon but its very expensive and I don't need advertising as I have my potential customers from my blog.

If you already have a customers base, in other words, if you can get customers onto your platform directly, you figured a lead funnel, then the most efficient approach for ebooks is to get your own CMS hosted with digital ecommerce/payment module, Braintree/PayPal/transfer and you are ready to go for sales at a ~2% fee for the payment processor, setup and hosting is a fixed cost.
Amazon is, sadly, the best market place for customers to discover your ebooks though, it may outperform your own marketing effort to be on kdp (and yes it will cost you 30% of your gross sales at the very very minimum)
