Hi IH!
Question for those of you cold email veterans that might have experience with this.
We need to scale up our cold email process and thus need some new domains.
We've considered prefixing such as "trybrand" or "getbrand" which are okay (anyone have any other good prefixing suggestions?) as well as using .co (cheapest best alternative to .com atm) and finally appending "app" to the end.
But what looks and reads the best as a domain at least for our specific brand is using a dash.
"brand-pro.com" or "brand-vr.com".
I know that google prefers no dashes over using dashes, but what about the email gods? Do you think having a dash used like above would hurt cold email deliverability in any way?
Appreciate any feedback! Thanks.
Personally speaking, I do not like hyphens in the domain name. This must be the reason that we do not find any good brands and websites with a hyphen.
By the way, you reminded me that long back when I was working on a hobby project www.ForexAbode.com (it's there like dead now), I had also registered a domain BrandAbode.com. I did not renew it and just now saw that someone is selling it at USD 25,000 :)
