Question to marketing / campaign managers - online / offline campaigns

How do you currently manage the project of going live with campaigns across both online and offline platforms, and with different campaign types in one online platform? getting all the marketing materials for all the different platforms' requirements?

For example - you are launching a branding campaign in both Facebook ads, Google Ads (search, display, and youtube) and media buying platform, you need a Landing page, content, images, and videos that meet the requirement of all the different platforms (as the image size of google display is different from Facebook) and you need to make sure you have all the different materials on time and that the campaigns are live and kicking.

If I'm looking at the current project management platforms (like Jira, Monday, trello, etc...) you need to open many tasks make sure you're specifying everything correctly.

I would really like to hear your expertise and opinion if it's something worth pursuing after as a product.

Hey Shanyh, happy to share some insight.

This is a big question to unload, so here's my attempt!

Across different companies, the process has varied. Either a project is (1) kicked up in Asana/Trello and everyone goes to work, (2) we issue requests to departments/teams of people (graphic design team for example), (3) we form a project team, split up tasks, and everyone goes, or (4) we create the campaign in the CRM first then tasks are dished out automatically and according to the needs of the campaign.

In the practice of launching campaigns in the past, the most efficient one was the looser, less structured approach (number 3 from above).

We identified the campaign we were going for, agreed on a date, split up responsibilities (as part of an online meeting) and everyone scrambled to get their work done. Once all was collected (emails, social posts, ads), 2 people went to work configuring it /scheduling it all, and pressing the launch button/celebrating with wine and beer. We have a follow-up/watch schedule after the launch.

I don't know if this helps much to your question, but it's some insight at least. As I think about the process of planning, creating, launching and managing a campaign, it's quite a disorganized process.

Thank you for the detailed answer! It's very helpful.
I also find this flow very disorganized from my experience, there's seems to be a need for a solution.

Or a streamlined way of doing it. I'm not one for the flashy make-a-million-online ads, but that Russell Brunson dude came close to this (in my opinion). He very much approaches campaigns and marketing planning as 'here are the pieces you need, go build them and connect the dots'.

Not a bad start to examining a possible solution for the greater population of marketers.
