Question: Ways to Reach Target Audience?
Hey all,
I'm wondering how do you reach a specific target audience? For example, I think my app fits the needs of students in particular.
What's effective? I've never used things like targeted ads, cold emails, etc... I've really only promoted my apps through writing articles and I'm wondering where to start outside of that space.

That's great that you've already defined a specific customer segment w/ students, and I don't think you'll quite know what's effective until you begin experimenting. I rely a lot on 1:1 sales when I'm first getting going with selling a product--cold outreach via email and Twitter.
I'd love to learn a bit more to suggest some more specific suggestions! What's this product help students accomplish?

To answer your question. Learn to code faster. i.e. it's not something that will teach you to code, it's a flash card application so you can improve your rates of retention. It has features that are specific-to / beneficial for learning coding.
e.g. You can write the cards in Markdown, it has syntax highlighting, the spaced repetition is geared towards making longer format cards. For example, fill-in-the-blank on a coding snippet, instead of short cards like "who was the first US President"
