I don't think I would pay for this, but here's a similar but alternative idea: I think I would pay to have 20-minute customer interviews with customers of competitors.
hmmm interesting! Yeah I agree with your sentiment, I think that would be the real value add. What I've been considering is building the platform, and having the reviews up for free, but the paid part of the platform is for founders/PMs to access contact info and get the ability to actually interview the customers.
Didn't realize there would be reviews. I thought this was a marketplace for users to earn some extra cash by trading their time for recorded videos.
How will you ensure that the review/feedback is unbiased? - since you are paying them to do this.

I think due to the nature of the paid part, the reviews will definitely be biased, but hopefully the fact that the users will be recording themselves and using the product on screen will give some actual unbiased information that founders/pms can pull out of the reviews. (I would equate this to how user interviews work out in the wild, where you're looking for little indicators of actual behaviour, not necessarily exactly what the person is saying).
This actually is a genius idea. I'm 100% sure companies would pay for that.

Time will tell! My friend pointed out that in theory you could just look up video reviews of the products on youtube... but my hope is users would give more feedback if you paid them to do it.
