Hey everyone,
I want to validate something (some thoughts), but I have a couple of questions for developers (frontend) and sales people.
Do you guys use mock APIs for demo products?
Mock APIs (not production-ready/ drafts) to present to clients?
For example: let's say you are building an analytical page (demo page for now), and you probably asking your team to develop a quick mock API. Depending on how many endpoints, takes 1-2 days to develop the mock API.
Is this still valid these days? Do frontend and sales people still use mock APIs? to present something?
Thank you
ps: backend background
So this is an interesting question to me because my side project is an API mocking platform.
In my experience as a developer, the benefits of a mock API fall into three categories:
I am working on something in my free time, I will share with you once the product is ready (in few months).
thank you for these points. Yes, is very true, mock APIs are very useful these days.
