As customers heavily focus on ratings before actually purchasing a product I am curious to hear how your rating is going so far?
Are star ratings generally important for your business or is i more like a chore to keep track off?
On my main revenue making businesses, reviews are mostly 5* as it does deliver a lot of benefits.
On my side project in the review management space, not enough reviews yet (or users!)
Reviewstap.com was built to help collect, manage and improve reviews.
Collect - via integrations or imports to message customers with ease.
Manage - brings all your reviews into one location for easy review and management.
Improve - happy customers are asked to leave public reviews, with others filtered into private feedback for internal resolution.
100% important. So far Removaly is at 5 stars, but there's only a few "public" reviews that have come in. We've made a HUGE focus though on customer support and making sure our users are satisfied with what we have to offer!
Thats great to hear Kyle! Which software are you using to gather customer ratings for Removaly ?
We're sending requests on email chains manually and having them fill out the review through SiteJabber. Do you have a better route?
Cool! Sounds like a lot of individual work. May I ask how many people respond to your feedback requests over all?
Unfortunately I don't know about any better solution. I am currently trying to validate an idea for gamifying the star rating on a website to improve your company's overall rating as well as increasing the amount of interaction with feedback popups.
Just a few. You can see all our reviews HERE.
And nice, that sounds awesome. Keep me posted on that @kylekrzeski
Oh okay thats not a lot yet. Is there any way for me to gie you a 5 star rating ?;-) I'm happy to help out but unfortunately I'm not able to find a rating option on your website.
I will do so for sure. ;-) Regarding ratings: Do you actually prefer the authenticity of your star reviews or is it more important for you to simply have a star rating as high as possible for your business?
Authenticity is key for me, which is why focus on real reviews from real customers using reviewstap.
Keeping negative feedback out of public realm helps with the rating, useful tactic but keeps it genuine.
Fake reviews rarely provide meaningful or lasting benefits.
I can answer both those questions in one...
We prefer authenticity over what the rating actually is. There's too many companies inflating ratings or getting fake reviews, but that's misleading and doesn't actually give a potential customer the sense of what to expect (much like the rampant fake reviews on Amazon right now). We're really trying to bring back simplicity, transparency (and great customer service) so unless you've played around with our software and like the product and/or customer service you've received, I'd hold off on leaving a review. Thanks for being willing though!
All the best!
