Every team I've worked with has failed to communicate decisions. Months are spent in meetings and Slack desperately trying to update everyone on the evolving plans. I care about this problem, and when life gives you lemons. So I quit my childhood dream to pursue my obsession with team communication.
Triqla is a note-taking / news feed mix for teams with evolving plans. Our focus is on making sure all team members are up to date when things change. It's the perfect platform for decision such as meeting notes, designs, and instructions.
Triqla is not a wiki with stale unread documents. We emphasize the latest, most up to date information.
Start by sharing your meeting notes; more colleagues will follow their evolution because, as we all know, the plans will change.
We just launched on product hunt, and we really need your feedback!
Looks interesting, I like the way you've co-opted the news feed concept to help filter information in teams/organisations. I didn't sign up because I'm hesitant to try to shoehorn another software tool into my team. We are extremely embedded in the MS cloud ecosystem (my university uses MS for everything, from Outlook to Azure). So asking the team to step outside, say MS Teams or Onenote, just isn't feasible - especially for such a small feature set. Maybe startups with small teams and no vendor lock-in is more your market?
I totally understand not wanting to confuse your collaborators with another tool, but why would non-microsoft tools not be feasible? We've seen many teams combine Microsoft and non-microsoft products such as Slack, GitLab, G-suit etc.
We really want to reach broader than small teams. If we can't we have to change the design.
It's "feasible" in that I could propose it. But I've proposed Notion and Trello. My team just... doesn't seem to like moving away from the core MS suite haha maybe it's just too much cognitive overhead, not sure tbh :)
Aha, that sucks. I wish you best of luck, some times are more welcoming to new tools than others.
