Quit my job to go full time on building my side projects
So as of May 1, I am officially full time on building out my side projects to replace my previous income with a bootstrapped, indie hacked startup.
I simply found myself so jaded and burnout at my otherwise great agency job. I've taken a huge risk for myself and family, but with the runway I've saved, and the safety net of being an adequate web developer, I'm confident that the 'worst-case scenario' is just to go back to a 9-5 if necessary.
I plan to be more active here to keep myself accountable and document my progress.
To begin (again) this journey and get out of the 'wanna-preneur' rut I've been in for a long time, I'm going to focus on finishing my current unfinished project: Eurotripr.com with a goal of trying to capitalize on the pent-up desire to travel.
Make it a habit to be active on indie hackers. Trust me, saying this from my personal experience. There are some really great and helpful members who will help you stay on track in this journey.

You will be even less happy with corporate jobs after being your own boss and people can smell that on you in interviews.
I recommend reducing your risk by not going it alone. Two people gives you more flexibility and reduces the risk of charging at windmills.
