Awesome video! Really enjoyed being in his brain during this video. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
But that's crazy, I mean if you make $500k/year, you could probably easily retire in 5 years of work. Assuming you invest and don't spend it like crazy.
I am currently a senior leader at a FAANG company, I earn more than this guy, but I still want to quit and start my own journey.
I guess it's the entrepreneurship that roots deep in my blood, and in my DNA.
I still want to build something and not work for this bozo who doesn't know anything but climbing corporate ladders.
If I quit, would anyone be interested to interview me? Haha.
What are your credentials? What did your journey look like for you to arrive at the position you're at now?
Nothing much to be honest, just worked hard and solved the right problems for the right people. Staying in a company long enough and having a boss who appreciates the effort.
I've always found the FAANG person who claims they want to start something a very interesting character.
If you're so keen on entrepreneurship and not climbing the corporate ladder, how did you end up as a senior leader at FAANG?
Genuinely curious as I know quite a few folks who fit a similar mold but never do anything because they're too comfortable in their cushy FAANG lifestyle.
You are absolutely right, it's the getting too comfortable that really worries me. I've quit my job before to work on my own company and went back. Now I feel it's time to start something new again.
