Hey everyone,
I had to make a hard decision today to quit my FWS job and pursue my startup's growth.
BACKGROUND CONTEXT:
I am a senior in school, and I was offered a Federal Work-Study job to work in this amazing innovation center my school is building.
Back to the story...I loved building the innovation center, but an opportunity came around that benefited my startup's growth.
I was caught at a crossroads with great opportunities. Choose to continue building this amazing place versus pursuing my passion.
📝MY DECISION:
I am really grateful for it but at the end of the day...I felt like the best choice was to do what I've been working on for almost 2 years now (my startup, if you didn't know 😅)
Building my startup isn't a secret to others, and I think it's time to own it more than ever.
📢CALL TO ACTION:
Share a time where you had the option of choosing to pursue your startup versus a career opportunity.
Also, how does it feel building your startup in public after you've made that choice?
👀 If you're curious about the awesome opportunity, we got accepted into an accelerator program. I can share more details and updates about that if anyone is interested.
