Same method as my other benchmarks — one fetch per public homepage, checks structured data, AI-crawler access, answer-shaped content, sitemap, no-JS legibility, entity clarity. No live LLM prompting (that gives a different answer every run, which felt like the wrong way to measure this).
Six of fourteen blocked the fetch before any score was even possible: Honda, GM, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi. Of the eight that let the check through, the average was 75.6/100 — Hyundai led at 95, Mazda trailed at 50.
The part I didn't expect: Tesla, probably the brand most associated with "software-forward," returned an HTTP 403 and isn't rankable at all. Meanwhile Hyundai — not exactly known as a software company — scored the highest of any brand tested.

Not selling anything here, just found the software-brand-blocks-the-robot thing funny enough to write up. Happy to run the same check against any site someone drops below, if useful.
