This story is about Sidi Jeddou. He is bootstrapping the form builder RapidForms.

  • Launched February 2024
  • 1-2 weeks to first 100 users
  • Currently 20 paying customers

Sidi Jeddou, a 21-year-old from Mauritania, is fully dedicated to RapidForms, a customizable form builder focused on privacy.

He launched RapidForms on February 9th, 2024, after noticing frustrations with existing form builders. Within months, he gathered over 1,000 users and 20 paying customers.

His product stands out by addressing three core issues: data privacy, customization, and pricing. Sidi emphasizes that data privacy is a priority — no data-sharing or analytics-driven policies.

RapidForms also offers easy customization to match website designs, an improvement over manually styling forms in CSS.

Marketing hasn’t been easy, but Sidi found success sharing his journey on Reddit and the DEV community, where his posts generated thousands of views. His Product Hunt and DevHunt launches also brought in new users, while social media updates kept his audience engaged.

Challenges remain, particularly in cold outreach and SEO, but Sidi is focused on steady growth and refining his product.
