Rate my Landing Page.

Hey everybody,

I recently gave some advice to Indie Hackers on simple ways to improve their landing pages.

Now I'd like your help. I've just redesigned the landing page for my product, Wrap.so, and I'd love to hear your feedback.

FYI, Wrap is a browser extension for capturing and editing beautiful, shareable product screenshots

I think there's always room to improve, and opening the floor to a community like IH is an amazingly efficient way to crowd source actionable feedback.

Thanks in advance!

    Great landing page already!
What I could recommend is adding an animated gif (or video) of how you take the screenshot and edit it using the app. Currently, you can see only ready-made images but showing that before/after animation would be a great thing for potential users.

      Hey Max!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to share some feedback.

Did you understand how the product worked from the current set of images? If not, a video makes sense for sure.

I did understand the end result, yes. But did not get the idea of how easy and quick the process actually is and whether I need any designer skills to pull it off.

It is the best landing page I have seen in a while, like honestly.

The only thing I would change is on the register page - I'd have the email form visible without needing to click a button, with the Google sign up underneath it. Or are you trying to encourage Google sign ups?

If you do decide to keep it as is, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have the same button serve as both a way to reveal the form, and to submit it. It's neat, but it might confuse some users.

      What’s up Yosif!

Thanks for taking the time to review. Great call. What was initially intended to be a neat gimmick might actually hurt conversions.

Not trying to prioritise Google sign ups really. So I’ll find a nice way to lay out both options up front, while also saving the click.

I mean, I find the button thing really cool, it's just that cool does not equal optimised for conversions :d

Glad to have helped, good luck!

It's a beautiful landing page, and the messaging is very clear as well. There's just one place I got stuck, one I clicked on "Get Started", there was no way to come back to the landing page. The page redirects to app.wrap.so/register and clicking on the logo keeps the user in the same register page.

Looks great! One small comment: "+1,000 others" looks weird to me in this context. I think ">1,000" or "over 1,000" would be better.

I didn’t t test the tool but the landing page is very very good.

    Thoughts I had:
I did not even look further down than the hero. It already convinced me.

I was questioning myself how the ease of use is and a video could help for that but that would not be a blocker for me to try out.

Hey! Thanks a lot for the feedback.

Yeah, someone else mentioned a video too. Did you understand how the project would work from the current images? Or would a video be necessary to get the idea across?

    Love it!
beautiful landing page, I'd say that the CTA wasn't noticeable enough, it didn't catch my eye, besides that , really awesome!

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Do you mean the CTA in navigation bar, or in the hero section?

      1. 1

both, its blending in the background..

The landing page is well designed🙂.

    I have some thoughts:

The call to action button on the header should be more prominent. Using the gradient as the background for the button instead of the text will be better in my opinion.

At the end of the page, you’re missing a call to action. Rather than letting users scroll back to the top to see the call to action button, having it also at the bottom of the page will be much more effective.

Hey! Thanks a lot for the feedback.

I think adding some more prominence to the header CTA is a good idea, and something I'll include in the next version. Good thinking on the end-of-page CTA too.

    Impressive landing page.

Wondering can we take customized screenshot?

For example, highlight only specific part in the screemshot.

    1. 1

Hey, thanks for checking it out!

Do you mean, take a full screenshot and only highlight a section in the final screenshot?

Or do you mean capture a portion of the screen?

      1. 1

Here is an example, where they have highlighted a part of image and blurred background.

I really like the design of the page and the potential of the product, but me, personally, I’m highly reluctant to ever sign up for something that won’t tell me their pricing before sign up (unless I missed something, which would also be a problem).

    1. 1

      Hey Ryan!

Thanks for the honest feedback. I'm still playing around with the pricing model, but once it's finalised I'll be sure to add a pricing section to the landing page.

    Looks Great!
I checked it out using Desktop Safari.

I appreciated the white space between elements. I though that color scheme was beautiful. The animations were subtle, fun, and not overused.

I would add a call to action within each section, or adjust what you already have to be actionable such as making the browser icons into buttons that link to the respective extension listings.

Hey Matt! Thanks a lot for this suggestion.

Now that I scroll through the page, I think you’re right. The Get Started button in the top right is pretty small once you’ve scrolled past the hero.
