Hey there,
This is the first time I post on Indie Hackers after lurking for a long time. I really want to say thanks for all the great inspirations and content one can find here.
So, I just published a newsletter to build an audience around miniature painting for an app I plan to release next year. Another scope for me was to get more comfortable with all the legal requirements here in Germany and in the EU.
I really want to know what you think about the landing page of painting.tools (https://painting.tools/).
Do you have any tips how I can increase the conversion rate?
Thanks π
I LOVE that you include an example of the newsletter here. Really cool idea!
I think this is a great design. Easy to consume.
My only concern is an imbalance between the figure at the top and the emojis below. Normally you don't have to design around emojis, as they are pretty small. But you're making heavy use of them here, and the ones (at the top, at least) are pretty big. They don't "match" The figure at the top, and I think it makes the page look a little bit less professional than it otherwise does.
I'm not sure how to resolve this, but just an observation. Maybe simply making the figure a tad bigger would help?
Hey Nick, thanks for the feedback!
I see what you mean. The emojis do not really fit into the design. Maybe using a custom black and white emoji font could fix this.
