Re-wrote my tasks/focus app from scratch

After taking a much-needed vacation, I came back with fresh energy and ended up rebuilding one of my task apps completely from scratch. It started as a small idea to add an AI to-do list feature… and turned into a full rework of the entire project. I finally added all the features I always wanted to add but never had the time for.

I'd really appreciate your thoughts or feedback:

Rebuilding an app from scratch can feel refreshing, but it’s often a sign that the original architecture lacked focus. What did your users actually ask for? A to‑do list with AI suggestions doesn’t need a wholesale rewrite; it needs clear priorities and constant user feedback. Make sure you’re not just polishing features because they’re fun to code. Ship the simplest thing that solves a real problem, get people using it, and only then layer on AI bells and whistles. Otherwise you risk building complexity nobody asked for.
