Reach is only 22 percent of my launch score and founders still chase it like it is everything

When I built Best Launch Platforms I put Reach at 22 percent of the BLP score. Intent is 20. Evergreen is 18. AI visibility is 15. Fairness is 13. Ease is 12. People still treat Reach like it is the whole game.

I get why. A big spike feels like proof. But a board that spikes hard and then goes dead can lose to a quieter room with lasting pages and better intent. On my index Product Hunt is strong on the day and weaker as an evergreen asset. Show HN and some AI catalogs keep working after the morning ends. Different jobs.

Aura++ is the daily Hunt-network board I run. It is not trying to win a Reach contest against Product Hunt. Premium is roughly dofollow from a DR around 70 plus a lasting page. I score that as SEO plus a focused hunter room. When founders only compare follower counts they skip boards that would have given them a week of comments or a link that still ranks.

What changed my own planning: I look at Intent and Evergreen before I look at hype screenshots. If the buyer is cold, I want a room where people actually try stuff. If I need a lasting URL, I do not burn the only morning on a trophy day with no follow through.

Curious how you weight it. If you only had one number to optimize this month, would it be Reach or Intent?
