I have been a really long time without double opt-in. 200+ bad emails are a lot... and the longer you have it without the worst.

Imagine that you do like me, and sell sponsorship spot or classifieds, you tell them is 40% click-through, but it could be more without fake or unusable email addresses.

I am aiming to have real readers, not to just hoard addresses.

You can see on the second image which addresses are gone.
I left those existing ones and also those opening, also those that are called "role", unavailable SMTP are also gone.

After this, I left the double opt-in on, I won't remove it, I rather to have a quality list than have bad emails. Next month I will go through those who open and those who do not.

Before launching on Producthunt I had 1232, now I am up to 1420 again, so the double opt in is actually something worth to have, even if it feels like a barrier.

But, let me mention I have around 150 pending...

As you can see most of them are not reachable...
