Reaching $4149 MRR in the Atlassian Marketplace

It's been 18 months since launching Agile Docs and revenue has slowly grown to $4149 MRR.

The app rolls up estimates from lower level tasks to higher level initiatives and filters to make it easy to track the estimate progress of projects in Jira.

If anyone is looking to get started as an indie hacker, I highly recommend launching an app in the Atlassian Marketplace. Especially if you use Jira or Confluence at your work and have an idea for an app which makes things easier.

If you have any questions about my journey or how to launch an app in the Atlassian Marketplace, let me know.

How did you go about marketing the app?

@rhysdiab, how was the vetting process with Atlassian to get listed on their marketplace?

    Congrats on the revenue growth!

      Thanks @hostedmetrics

Not too bad. Your app needs to not crash and you need a few things like:

      • an end user license agreement
      • a data privacy policy
      • a Jira service desk account for customer support

Your app may get rejected for not meeting any of the above criteria but it's easy to quickly add it and resubmit.
