React Components to create Online Courses - Validation

Hey folks, I've been seen a lot of people looking for tools to create online courses and I've been thinking on create a set of reusable components using React to make it easier not only visually but, providing data store and other utilities to create interactive exercises as well.

My first thought is make it open source and collaborative and after, create an online platform where non tech people could create theirs online courses using a friendly web interface.

What do you all think? Is it sound a good idea to work on?

Thanks for your time.

I have purchased a course from schoolofcaisthenics.com and have figured out that they are using learnworlds.com platform which does exactly this: host courses.
I personally don't like how the platform works, but it might be the custom setup and not the platform.
Maybe you can talk to https://egghead.io/ because they have their own platform where they teach react

It's a super niche tool. People who have no tech will use service to create their course.

      Did you like the idea?

you can do it but expect very low usage. Don't expect people will want to pay for it. The paid project I know for this kind of dev tool is mansory, froala and fullcalendar.io

you need to have a lot of stars otherwise I think it will become a common package sitting on npm.
