React vs Vue vs Angular: After building dozens of front-end projects, here's what I've learned

Choosing a JavaScript framework is one of those decisions that can save—or cost—you months of development time.

I've worked with projects using React, Vue, and Angular, and one thing became clear:

👉 There isn't a universally "best" framework.

Instead, the right choice depends on what you're building.

Here are a few patterns I've noticed:

⚛️ React

Huge ecosystem and community
Flexible architecture
Excellent for startups, SaaS products, and complex UIs
More decisions to make because it's a library, not a complete framework

💚 Vue

Very easy learning curve
Great developer experience
Perfect for MVPs and small-to-medium applications
Fast onboarding for new developers

🅰️ Angular

Complete framework out of the box
Strong TypeScript integration
Best suited for enterprise-scale applications
More structure, but also a steeper learning curve

One mistake I see founders make is choosing the framework because it's trending instead of asking:

How experienced is my team?
How large will this project become?
How quickly do we need to ship?
Will this need long-term maintenance by multiple developers?

Those answers usually make the decision much easier.
