I built a small tool called SitCoach because I slouch .. a lot.
The idea is pretty basic. You open it in the browser, start the posture check, and let it run in the background.
It doesn’t need an install, an account, or a subscription. It uses the webcam, but the processing runs locally in the browser, so the camera feed isn’t uploaded anywhere.
It’s not meant to replace movement, stretching, or a better desk setup. But for me it's a good addition.
I made it free because I don’t really want to make money from people’s back (pain). I’d rather keep it free and maybe find sponsors later if people find it useful.
Here it is:
I’d love feedback from other people who sit at a desk a lot. Does the idea make sense? Would you trust something like this in the browser? What would make it useful without making it annoying?
