Real estate offer parser for polish market

Hi!

Over the last months, I created an MVP of https://omip.pl (apologies, the website is in Polish).

It's an aggregator that collects daily offers from all real estate portals in Poland and lets users receive daily notifications based on their preferences such as location, size, price, image characteristics, etc.

Currently, I advertise the platform through Facebook groups by posting daily apartment buying bargains.

At this point, there are 50 registered users and about half of them are active. However, none of them chose to use a premium version, which brings me to the question.

What would you do at this point?

I was thinking of the following solutions:

  • delete free subscriptions
  • try to promote the app abroad (any ideas on how to start?)
  • go to mobile (maybe my users don't like using web apps?)
  • add more features ( I did a survey among potential users and I pretty much cover most of their biggest pains)

Finally, any other comment/ suggestion is more than welcome.

Thank you guys and have a wonderful day!

Congratulations on creating a real estate offer parser for the Polish market! It's great to see that you have already gained some traction with 50 registered users and half of them being active.

Regarding your question on what to do next, I have a few suggestions:

    1. Analyze user behavior: Before making any major changes, it's essential to analyze the behavior of your active users. What are they searching for? What are their preferences? This data can help you identify any patterns or trends that can inform your decision-making.
    2. Promote the app abroad: Expanding your user base to other countries can be a great way to increase your revenue. You can start by researching the real estate market in other countries and identifying potential target audiences. Once you have a clear idea of who your potential users are, you can create targeted marketing campaigns to reach them.
    3. Consider a mobile app: While some users may prefer web apps, a mobile app can offer a more seamless and convenient user experience. You can start by conducting a survey to see if your users would prefer a mobile app and then explore different app development options.
    4. Add more features: While you mentioned that you have already covered most of the biggest pains of your potential users, there may still be room for improvement. You can consider adding new features such as virtual tours, mortgage calculators, or neighborhood guides to enhance the user experience.
    5. Partner with real estate agents: Partnering with real estate agents can be a great way to increase your revenue. You can offer premium features to agents, such as access to more detailed data or the ability to promote their listings on your platform.
    6. Leverage social media: You mentioned that you are currently advertising your platform through Facebook groups. You can explore other social media platforms such as Instagram or LinkedIn to reach a wider audience.

Finally, I would like to suggest a New City Paradise if you wanna earn a maximum ROI in short period of time in Real estate Market. With the rise of remote work and the increasing popularity of digital nomads, many people are looking for new and exciting places to live. By highlighting the unique features and benefits of different cities in Poland, you can attract a new audience looking for a new city paradise.

I hope these suggestions help you grow your platform and increase your revenue. Good luck!

What is the best way to show the real estate map online?
I want to use some CMS because I don't understand programming. I already tried the real estate model on this page https://www.phoenixhomes.com/financing-options/

I would say in my opinion it is pretty hard to convince end-users from Poland to pay for a service related to apartment search. From small research that I did there is much higher chance to convert agencies/owners into revenue source (of course if you provide them some valuable features), but as you are an aggregator, that way won't work for you.

Moreover, after checking your pricing I feel that it could be too high according to the value that you provide to a user, as he can do a quite similar filtering (maybe not very advanced, but still relevant to his needs) and get notifications for free from origin services.

Being Polish and actually seeking real estate in a large city at the moment (albeit passively), I struggle to find value in what you offer as a premium option. Personally, I'm perfectly fine with all the websites that are already available.

As for features: most people looking for real estate in Poland are bound by a contract and terminating such takes time and/or money, so a good feature that you're lacking here in your offer would be notifying about flats that are available to let in a certain timeframe, i.e. a month from now, since that's my termination period.

      Hi, thanks for a reply!
Would the feature that you mentioned convince you to pay for any of the premium options?
