    • I think you may have a layout issue, i'm on chrome. Heres a link to the screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/7WqCm9t
    • I think your call to action on the offset page could be stronger. Right now the main call to action is "back to calculator". But thats probably not what you want your users to do right?
    • The name was also distracting to me, I spent time wondering what the 6 meant. And ideally, users should not have to think about much.
    • Your product says that "You calculated an emission of: 0.910t." I'm not sure what metric is being measured here. C02 i guess? I also don't know if 0.910t is a lot or a little. Maybe you can provide a more tangible metric. Like "you will emit 1 ton of c02, that is the equivalent of 100 water bottles!" or something more tangible for people to really feel the connection.
    • Pressing the link to your LinkedIn didn't take me anywhere

I love your mission. I wish more folks were focused on the climate crisis. How will your potential customers discover your product?

Thank you for your feedback @johncb.

I use Opera which is Chrome based but indeed the layout is broken on Chrome, so I need to fix that :s

Indeed, I can improve the CTA on the offset page, I'll look into that.

For the name, I made a logo that use the design of the periodic table to make it easier to understand that the 6 means carbon: https://curb6.com/img/logo-social.png but it's still a bit hard to link the two. I really like that domain as it's super short and works great when you know how to "read" it, but if I can't make the user connect the dots, it might not be that great 🤔

Anyway, thank you for you're great feedback, I have some work and thinking to do now!

    Hey Indie Hackers!

I've rebuilt the landing page of Curb6, a carbon offset tool. There's only a flight carbon dioxide emission calculator for now but new features are coming soon.

I tried to make it as simple as possible and put a CTA to start building a mailing list of leads for the future SAAS offering.

What do you think of it?
