Receipt Data Extraction
What It Does
As the name suggests, ReceiptToCSV is a receipt data extraction tool. Simply upload a receipt photo and the data (including individual items) will be extracted. This data can then be exported to a CSV/Excel file for ease-of-use. Demo video here.
The Problem With Other Solutions
Existing solutions suffer from one or many of the following issues:
Inordinately Expensive: Some companies are really charging $20-$30 per month to extract data from a few receipts!
Limited Free Plan: Want to scan more than 10 receipts? Too bad! Now you have to pay $20/month.
Poor Data Extraction: Most notably, the itemized breakdown of receipts is often missing.
Needless Complexity: From forced user sign-ins/sign-ups to a bloated and cluttered UI, to soliciting too much user involvement in the process.
Overcoming The Limitations
We adhere to the following practices to make our product standout:
The Three Noes: No forced sign-ups/sign-ins, no payments required, and no advertisements.
Simple & Seamless UI: Our user interface will promote and feature the core of our solution; namely receipt data extraction. This does NOT mean that we will be stringent on adding new features!
Advanced AI Tooling: With the massive improvements in LLM and OCR tooling in the past couple years, receipts — even ones of lower quality can now have nearly all the data accurately extracted.
