Recommend me your favorite podcast!

Hey guys!

I am looking to expand the podcast that I keep an eye on and listen to this year.

I am mostly looking for podcasts about personal development, business development, entrepreneurship, indie hacking, product management, this kind of stuff. Podcasts for makers of some sort :).

Maybe you also noticed that I am the co-founder of a platform that handles podcast exploration (podots.com), but since the platform is in its infancy, I need your help to find new podcasts.

What podcast inspired you the most?

What podcast made you "aha" the most?

P.S. It would be incredibly helpful for me if you would also post your favorite podcasts on podots.com!

As a bootstrap founder I love listening to podcasts by other founders talking about their journey.

    In no particular order :)

https://www.startuptolast.com/ @ricklindquist & @tilikang (Tyler has also been on IH podcast multiple times)

This is quite the list, now I have what to listen to for the rest of my life :)).

Keep it updated, I'm sure more people will find this list awesome!

      Thanks a lot!

Thanks, got a few more on the list to listen to. But need to finish 70ish podcasts before I do that.

    2. 2

Thanks for mentioning our pod Volkan! I agree with everything on this list! Great stuff!

Not related to indie hacking or entrepreneurship, but I love the Lex Fridman podcast. It gives alluring thoughts to ponder about.

    1. 1

Tons of clips on YT and they never seem to actually address the title. Not sure if anyone else has noticed that.

    2. 1

      +1 for Lex Fridman.

    3. 1

The titles of his podcast sound awesome. I also like that he is a Lex :)).

Thanks a lot for the recommendation!

My favorite podcast that I listen to for SEO purposes is by Marie Haynes Consulting: 'Search News You Can Use'.

    1. 1

I always treated SEO with superficiality. I will give this a listen! Thanks for sharing!

While not exlusively personal development, Hidden Brain touches on some fascinating studies of human behavior and brain chemistry that I think are useful for understanding people.

Found this description of the show -> Shankar Vedantam uses science and storytelling to reveal the unconscious patterns that drive human behavior.

That sounds fun! Thanks a lot for the recommendation!

Since you didn't mention indiehackers podcast (https://player.fm/series/indie-hackers-1554290), I just wanted to make sure you don't miss it.

    1. 1

      Yeah! It's a good podcast!

But I already know about it, so feel free to share another one!

TechStuff (https://player.fm/series/techstuff-2152808) is a good one. Covers a variety of things including histories of products/companies, what went right, wrong, etc.

        1. 1

This sounds interesting. I usually like tech stuff, so a podcast called Tech Stuff should fit quite easily in my podcast library!

          Thanks!
