I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a video editor for screencasts?
I recorded in Loom, and have been editing in Quicktime (just trimming / cutting parts of the video).
Quicktime is okay, but was wondering if there is anything better out there. Thanks!
I ended up using Shocut (Java, portable executable). I couldn't find anything online that allowed me to easy add the voiceover at various places. It was relatively easy to figure out but wish Kapwing could do it.
Check out the free version of Davinci Resolve.
Hi Seth,
We're working on a tool to help create and share screencasts: https://screenstreamer.com/. It might be useful to you & would appreciate any feedback. We're actively developing / growing the service and adding editing features is on the list.
Regards
Steve
Hey Steve - thanks! Will check this out. Does your tool have the ability to have my own video in the bottom in addition to recording the screen (like Loom does)? Thanks,
Hi Seth,
We're working on that feature right now, hope to roll it out next week.
