Recommendations for paid marketing

Currently I'm considering to reach my customers with paid marketing. My target audience is Shopify store owners. My first test campaigns didn't went well.
Is there any recommendation? Which platforms, campaign types?

Probably you can target directly the Shopify stores by doing a footprint scrape and cold email them.

Actually I target them but couldn't convert to app install. FB Conversion campaign brings App Instal when I started the campaign but afterwards it just stop working.
