Record my Bootcamp?

So I’ve been teaching web development to a non technical person. And been building up exercises and trying to keep things interesting, short and motivating.

It’s just one person right now. But I’m wondering, would there be value in recording these sessions and putting it out there? There’s so many of these so what would make mine different?

Maybe you can start by putting together a webinar series? Here are a few reasons why:

    • It's not far from what you're already doing
    • You'd start to build your reputation and an audience to launch to
    • You get feedback, so you can improve your content for a wider audience

The downside is that it's hard to charge for webinars, especially if you're not yet well "known"

Hey Merott. Thanks for taking the time to reply and for the encouragement. I didn’t think of a webinar. I thought of doing a one-off but a series makes more sense for it to pick up steam. Thanks for that 👍

    "what would make mine different?"
Let me ask the same question: what would make your Bootcamp different?

I think the main benefit right now is the hand holding and being able to answer questions on the spot. Other than that, also being able to take dry material and make it interesting and making it relatable to the student’s past experiences. But maybe that’s an advantage of 1-on-1 coaching that may not necessarily translate well over to a recorded session. Thoughts? Would I need a bigger sample size to test this out further or just try it out and see if others benefit?
